Main Page | See live article | Alphabetical index The Norwegian Blue is a fictional species of parrot referred to in the Monty Python's Flying Circus Dead Parrot comedy sketch. In the sketch the parrot is dead, but a number of characteristics are attributed to it to try and disguise this fact (e.g. it is 'resting' or 'pining for the fjords').
