The assassination takes place at Macarthur Park in Los Angeles, California on Thursday, December 2, 1999.
The man who supposedly shot him, Alek Hidell, dies after police officers chasing him shot him in the head.
After the assassination, a group named Citizens for Truth, led by David James (David James) and Debra Meagher (Laurie Pike), aims to open files on the assassination investigation made by LAPD's Rampart division.
