Main Page | See live article | Alphabetical index During the Falklands War, Operation Canbelow was a planned British ant-aircraft ambush conducted on the night of 5 June, 1982 off the western Falkland Islands. After a number of night raids of high-flying Argentine Canberra bombers, the Royal Navy moved two ships (HMS Invincible and HMS Brilliant) to surprise the bombers on their next flight.
