Perote is a city in the state of Veracruz, Mexico. It is bordered by Las Vigas de Ramírez, Acajete, Xico and Tlalnelhuayocan, and state of Puebla and on Mexico highways 180 and 190. The fortress of San Carlos, is a prison by attacked troops on the artillery of the troop. In Perote is the Volcán Cofre de Perote (the spanish name was Naucampatepetl), who significates in Náhuatl (four times mister) in Casatel's, the troop, who exiled Guadalupe Victoria.
