Pietro Cavallini (1259-1330) was an Italian painter and mosaic designer working during the Renaissance. His work is believed to have influenced that of Giotto, whose Last Judgement in the Arena Chapel at Padua bears a striking similarity to Cavallini's. His pupils included Giovanni di Bartolommeo.

His works include:

  • Jael and Tisseran (date unknown), watercolour
  • Life of the Virgin (1291), mosaic at Santa Maria in Trastevere in Rome, which includes:
    • Annunciation
    • The Birth of Jesus
    • Nativity of the Virgin
  • The Last Judgement (1295-1300), part of fresco cycle at Santa Cecilia in Trastevere in Rome

Giorgio Vasari included a biography of Cavallini in his Lives.
