In the Pokémon games and television series, a Pokeball is a device used to store Pokémon when they are not in use. It measures about 4 centimeters in diameter normally, and can shrink to about 1 centimeter to be carried on a belt. Even though some pokémon can be many times a person's height, they still fit in a Pokeball.
