Princess Victoria Melita of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, called Ducky, (25 November 1876 - 2 March 1936) was granddaughter of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom.

She first married, on 19 April 1894, Grand Duke Ernst Ludwig of Hesse und bei Rhein, with whom she had one child, a daughter named Elisabeth (who died young).

She divorced her first husband when she found out he had been having sexual relations with the (male) “help”. "No boy was safe," Ducky said, "from the stable hands to the kitchen help. He slept quite openly with them all."

She subsequently married her first love, Grand Duke Kyril Vladimirovitch of Russia, on 8 October 1905. They had three children, and their descendants include one of the Romanov claimants to the Russian throne. The divorce and remarriage were considered scandalous.

Both her husbands were her first cousins.

The last two years of her second marriage were colored by some sort of revelation about her husband Cyril’s sexual life. “There has been speculation that Kirill was involved in behavior or relationships far more sensational and unorthodox than a simple and casual affair with another woman.”

Ducky died following a stroke.
