R.O.B (Robotic Operating Buddy) was an accessory for the 1984 relese of the NES in the United States. It only played 2 games, Gyromite and Stackup. The games required that the other controller be put into a special place on R.O.B.; it would perceive gameplay through the use of light flashes on the screen (like the light gun). It was slow to react and the games were not sufficiently challenging; it was discontinued because of its limitations and its price.
