Rajdhani Express is a train service in India introduced in 1969 operating at a speed of 130 kilometres per hour. It runs between Delhi and 12 other cities namely Howrah, Mumbai, Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar, Guwahati, Patna, Chennai, Secunderabad, Jammu Tawi, Ahmedabad. The first Rajdhani Express ran between Howrah and New Delhi in 1969. Initially, it was a bi-weekly service. The Bombay-New Delhi Rajdhani Express was introduced on May 17, 1972.
