Roding Valley is a London Underground station, situated directly on the border of Essex and the London Borough of Redbridge, but under the jurisdiction of Essex County Council.

Roding Valley is served by the Central Line with services running between Woodford and Hainault until 8pm daily, with some peak-hour services running via Hainault and Gants Hill to London. It is the first station on the Hainault branch, which originally ran from Woodford to Ilford before being diverted during World War II. The station itself was built in 1936 to service to new housing developments between Buckhurst Hill and Woodford, and named after the valley of the River Roding which is close by. However it is one of the most lightly used stations on the Underground.

Roding Valley station is located off of Buckhurst Way and is served regularly by bus service 549 (as of June 2003).

Customers travelling northbound from Woodford towards Buckhurst Hill can catch a glimpse of the station and the junction off of the main line if they look right.
