Alexandra Elene McLean Denny (1947-1978) was a British vocalist who recorded several albums under the name "Sandy Denny." She was the lead vocalist for Fairport Convention for several years, and also sang with The Strawbs, Fotheringay and The Bunch. She died as a result of a domestic accident (falling downstairs). She is probably most remembered for her song "Who knows where the time Goes", which has been often covered by other artists.
