Šariš (in Latin: "comitatus Sarossiensis", in German: Scharosch, in Hungarian: Sáros) is the name of a historic administrative county in northern eastern Slovakia from a time when Slovakia was part of Hungary. Today only an informal designation of the corresponding territory. Situated between Levočské vrchy (i.e. Spiš), Kosice and Svidník.

Historically a prosperous region, nowadays a rather poor region.
