Selma is one of Marge's two cynical chain-smoking sisters (the other is Patty), who works at the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and has a strong dislike for Homer. Her full name has evolved into Selma Bouvier Terwilliger Hutz McClure, after marriages to Sideshow Bob, Lionel Hutz, and Troy McClure. It is not easy to distinguish the twins from each other.
