Oxyruncus cristatus
The Sharpbill, Oxyruncus cristatus is a small drab bird found in mountainous areas of tropical South America up to Panama and Costa Rica.

It inhabits the canopy of wet forest and feed on fruit and some invertebrates. These birds have an orange erectile crest, black-spotted yellowish underparts and scaling on the head and neck. as its name implies, it has a sharp bill.

It was previously considered to be the sole member of the passerine bird family Oxyruncidae, although there recent DNA evidence places it in the cotinga family, Cotingidae.
