Sifl and Olly was a short-lived MTV show running from 1997 to 1998.
Sifl and Olly was based on the sock puppet alter egos of Liam Lynch and Matt Crocco.
The two used to make comedy tapes for friends and family. Eventually, those became an amalgamation of which Liam sent to MTV-UK, where they became short buffer clips in between videos known as "idents."
