The Robert Simpson Company was a Canadian department store retailer, founded by Robert Simpson in 1872. Simpson's was acquired by the Hudson's Bay Company in 1979, and in 1991 its operations were merged with The Bay's. Since then all of the stores have been converted to the Bay and the Simpson's name no longer exists in Canada today.
