Sleepless in Seattle is a film (romantic comedy, 1993) starring Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan, Bill Pullman and Rosie O'Donnell. It was directed by Nora Ephron. It is a story about a long-distance love and the hope of finding that one person.

The story is about a man (Sam Baldwin played by Tom Hanks) who lost his true love and a woman (Annie Reed played by Meg Ryan) who hasn't found hers yet. Sam lives in Seattle and Annie lives in Baltimore. One evening around Christmas time she hears a boy (Jonah) on the radio who tells how he misses his mother and how his father misses his wife. Sam is called on the phone and Annie is immediately attracted to him. Although Annie is about to get married to her fiancé Walter (played by Bill Pullman), she decides to travel to Seattle to find out more about him.
