Social Democracy (Danish: Socialdemokratiet) is a Danish political party. In the 2001 parliamentary elections it was the second largest party, with 29.1% of the votes and 52 seats, performing very poorly compared to previous results. It is currently led by former Prime Minister, Poul Nyrup Rasmussen.

It is a member of the Party of European Socialists and the Socialist International. In the European Parliament it has two MEPs.
