Sunny Leone (born May 13, 1981) is a model who is best known for winning Penthouse Magazine's Pet of the Year for 2003. She is one of the few adult entertainers to be of an Indian background. Her first name is really Sunny, but her true last name is unknown, Leone being a psuedonym.

She was born in Ontario, Canada. She moved to California after high school and got into modeling, eventually moving onto nude modeling. She began appearing in many magazines and websites in the nude, and eventually made it to Penthouse Magazine with her own layout in 2002. Her popularity and beauty allowed her to win the 2003 Penthouse Pet of the Year award.

She has admitted herself that if she had never left Canada, she would have been a different person and not gone into the adult industry. She has one brother, and her parents are aware of her career and support her. She is also finishing college and intends to become a nurse.
