The Pride of the Yankees is a 1942 biographical film which tells the story of New York Yankees star Lou Gehrig. It stars Gary Cooper, Teresa Wright, Babe Ruth (as himself), Walter Brennan, Dan Duryea, Elsa Janssen and Ludwig Stössel.

The movie was adapted by Herman J. Mankiewicz, Casey Robinson (uncredited) and Jo Swerling from a story by Paul Gallico. It was directed by Sam Wood.
