This Hour Has 22 Minutes: Holiday Special 2000 is a Christmas special from the television series: This Hour Has 22 Minutes.
Deck the Halls with Cathy Jones, Rick Mercer, Greg Thomey and Mary Walsh as they continue focusing on Canadian politics, combining news parody, sketch comedy, satirical editorials and celebrating the Christmas season.
The hour long special included; Rick Mercer spending two days in Bosnia filming comedy segments with Canada's peacekeepers; Marg, Princess Warrior (Mary Walsh) unleashing an ambush on then-Ontario Premier Mike "Scrooge" Harris and exchanging bon mots with flamboyant TV host Dame Edna; Greg Thomey schmoozing with top celebrities at the star-studded International Emmy Awards in New York and Babe Bennett (Cathy Jones) reveals her take on the Holiday season. The episode also featured guest appearances by award-winning author Margaret Atwood and a parody of Charlie's Angels.
22 Minutes Holiday Special was produced by Salter Street Films.
