A Thomas Guide is one of a number of multi-page books featuring detailed street maps of a large USA metropolitan area. The map books are usually arranged by county; for example, separate Thomas Guides have been published for Los Angeles County and San Diego County. Each guide has a detailed index of streets, as well as arterial maps for easy page location. The Thomas Guide is published by Thomas Bros. Maps, and new, updated editions are released annually.
