Three Coins in the Fountain is a 1954 film which tells the story of three American girls looking for romance in Rome. It stars Clifton Webb, Dorothy McGuire, Jean Peters, Louis Jourdan, Maggie McNamara and Rossano Brazzi.

The movie was adapted by John Patrick from the novel by John H. Secondari, and was directed by Jean Negulesco.

It won Academy Awards for Best Cinematography, Color and Best Music, Song (for Jule Styne and Sammy Cahn forThree Coins in the Fountain). It was nominated for Best Picture.
