Tobal No. 1 is a fighting game for the Playstation developed by Dream Factory and released by Squarsoft around 1996. Its strongest selling point was having characters designed by Akira Toriyama of Dragon Ball fame. The game itself runs at smooth 60fps due to its lack of textured polygons and reduced details which give the game a peculiar look. This was Squaresoft's first incursion into the fighting game genre, although an adventure-like quest mode is part of the game.
