Tynwald Day occurs annually in the Isle of Man, usually on 5 July. Tynwald meets on this day on Tynwald Hill at St John's after a religious ceremony at the Royal Chapel. Here, all Acts passed by Tynwald in the past year are promulgated. Any Act not so promulgated within 18 months of its passing by Tynwald is null and void. Following this members of the public may present petitions for Redress of Grievances.

After this ceremony Tynwald reconvenes in the Royal Chapel, presided over by the Lieutenant Governor, where the promulgation of Acts is certified.
