Unión Deportiva Salamanca are a Spanish football team from Salamanca. Founded on March 16 1923, they currently play in the Segunda División.

Nicknamed Los Charros, they play in white shirts and black shorts. Home stadium is the Helmántico that seats 17,341 spectators.

Initially formed by some Irish students, Salamanca first played in early Spanish championships from 1907, before official foundation much later. They have since floated between Segunda B and the Primera. Most recent success in the Primera División was between 1974 and 1981 under coach José Luis Garcia Traid, although the team has spent three subsequent seasons in the top division.
