The Vanier Cup in Canadian university football has been awarded annually to the winner of the national championship game since 1965.

Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS), formerly the Canadian Interuniversity Athletics Union (CIAU), organizes the matches that lead from the semi-final playoffs in Atlantic and Western Canada to the national championship finalists.

The Cup was named after the former Governor-General of Canada, Georges Vanier.
