Waldron is a city located in Scott County, Arkansas. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 3,508. The city is the county seat of Scott County6.

There are 1,430 households out of which 31.3% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 45.9% are married couples living together, 11.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 37.1% are non-families. 33.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 16.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.38 and the average family size is 3.00.
