Welcome to the Pleasuredome is the title of the third single from Frankie Goes to Hollywood (details below), and also the title of their first album released on ZTT Records in 1985.
The lyrics of the track Welcome To The Pleasuredome were inspired by the 56-line poem Kubla Khan, written by English poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge. Compare them with the lyrics of "Xanadu" from the album A Farewell to Kings by Canadian rock band Rush.
