In the fictional universe of J. R. R. Tolkien, Ar-Sakalthôr was the 22nd ruler of Númenor. He followed the royal tradition of turning away from the ways of the Valar. He succeeded his father Ar-Zimrathôn as King. He ruled Númenor for sixty-nine years, and was succeeded by his son, Ar-Gimilzôr. The Quenya version of his name was Tar-Falassion.
