The Boto, or Amazon River Dolphin (Inia geoffrensis) is a freshwater or river dolphin. It is most commonly seen in the Amazon River and Orinoco River systems. The Boto is the largest of the river dolphins. Other names for it are Amazon Dolphin, Boto Vermelho, Bouto, Bufeo, Dauphin de l'Amazone, Inia, Pink Dolphin, Pink Freshwater Dolphin, Pink Porpoise, and Tonina.

Some scientists list another species in the Inia genus, I. boliviensis. These animals are found in the Madeira river system of Bolivia. Most consider them to be a subspecies of I. geoffrensis.
