Hans Robert Hiegel (born 6. Januar 1954 in Kaiserslautern) is an influencial German architect.

Life and Work

He Lived in London until 1978. His first work House Agne(1983), still modern, the succeeding projects head towards a classical language. An important publication is Werkheft04, ISBN 3-923222-03-3[1], or the legendary essay by Thilo Hilpert [1], a+u, Tokyo. In 1983 spectacular project for Campanile in Frankfurt_am_Main, which turned out to be most influencial on the Messeturm_(Frankfurt). Legendary "Jerusalem lecture".
