Main Page | See live article | Alphabetical index In French, a hôtel de ville is a town hall. The Hotel de Ville, located in Paris, France, was the short-lived seat of the Paris Commune of 1871. The French Third Republic was declared in that building. There is also a Hotel de Ville located in Groningen, the Netherlands and an Acacias Hotel de Ville located in central Paris.
