Main Page | See live article | Alphabetical index HTLV stands for Human T-Lymphotropic Virus and it is a human, single-stranded RNA retrovirus from the subfamily Oncovirinae that causes T-cell leukaemia and T-cell lymphoma in adults and may also be involved in certain demyelinating diseases.
