Ivybridge is a town in the South Hams area of Devon, England. It lies on the River Erme and has a population of about 12,000 people.

Ivybridge originally grew as a staging post on the Exeter to Plymouth road. It was not formally recognised as a town until 1977. It is now largely a dormitory town for Plymouth. Its railway station was reopened relatively recently, in order to provide commuter services into Plymouth.
