Main Page | See live article | Alphabetical index The Jagdtiger was a tank destroyer made of the Tiger chassis, it featured very heavy armor and a powerful 128mm gun capable of defeating any tank fielded in WW2, even at long ranges. It had 250mm armor on the front glacis which made it practically invulnerable to any fire, but its high weight and no turret means that the Jagdtiger had to turn to aim at enemy tanks made it vulnerable to infantry with AT weapons that could come close enough, but when properly supported this was a frightening weapon!
