Hamilton graduated from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas in 1979 with a degree in theatre. After graduation, she spent time in England and pursued mainstream careers in both modeling and acting. It was after an unfortunate accident with a coffee urn, which scarred one side of her body, that she decided to make adult movies; beginning in 1980 and continuing actively until 1984. Veronica Hart is best known for her performances in Amanda, by Night and Scent of Heather.
