When she "failed to perform her wifely duties," Zev was sentenced to become a love slave, a process done by a machine called the Lusticon. After a misshap with a loose cluster lizard and the Lusticon, Zev has some cluster lizard DNA inside. And before the Lusticon could re-adjust her mind, she placed the head of a decapitated 790 robot in its path. The robot head (790) immediately fell in love with Zev. On the episode "Terminal," Zev died, but was reanimated by Lyekka as a present for Stan. The new Zev (called Xev) has saved Stan on many occasions and once held the key to the Lexx. Zev is madly in love with Kai, while attracting both 790 and Stanley, though she has no interest in them.
